Zone 3: The Nervous System
The Nervous System is the highway of the body.
Dr. Thurman Fleet taught the following – “there are only six kinds of disturbances that can affect the human body. These are GLANDULAR, ELIMINATIVE, NERVOUS, DIGESTIVE, MUSCULAR, and CIRCULATORY. All diseased conditions, aches and pains, and other discomforts experienced by the body can be attributed to one or more of the above disturbances to the body’s 6 systems or Zones
Zone 3: The Nervous System
This month we are focusing on the Third Zone system in the body: The Nervous System.
Think of this system as the major highway system in our body. It involves our brain, spinal cord, and the billions of nerves that go to every single organ, tissue, and cell in our body. When the brain wants the body to do something it sends its message through this system and vice versa, the body tells the brain what it is experiencing. Both directions on this superhighway need to be working in harmony for our body to work effectively and efficiently.
When we have an imbalance in the nervous system we may experience symptoms such as:
- Poor sleep
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Nerve pain
- Reproductive issues
Along with getting your Nervous System checked and balanced by a Zone Certified Practioner, another great way to keep your nervous system functioning perfectly is by eliminating worry in your life.
Is there a situation or person that you have been worrying about? Worry is a useless emotion and only creates dis-ease in the body. Instead of worrying, ask yourself: “Is there anything I can do at this moment right now to help this situation?” If the answer is no, then move on. Do not give it any more thought than that. Our thoughts affect the health of our body so focus on the positive and what can be done, at this moment now.
