Dr. Thurman Fleet taught the following – “there are only six kinds of disturbances that can affect the human body. These are GLANDULAR, ELIMINATIVE, NERVOUS, DIGESTIVE, MUSCULAR, and CIRCULATORY. All diseased conditions, aches and pains, and other discomforts experienced by the body can be attributed to one or more of the above disturbances to the body’s 6 systems or Zones
This month we are focusing on the second zone/system in the body: The Elimination System. This body system is crucial for good health because its main function is to eliminate all waste products from our bodies. Waste products can be anything from old cellular material to viruses, bacteria and toxins. These waste products are eliminated from the body using the following organs:
Sinuses, Lungs, Liver, Kidneys, Bladder, Colon and Skin.
When we have an imbalance in the elimination system we may experience symptoms such as:
· Sinus infections
· Ear infections
· Chest congestion
· Kidney stones
· Urinary tract infections
· Skin rashes/lesions
· Aches & pains
Along with having our Eliminative System checked and balanced by a Zone Certified Practitioner, another great way to start healing out Elimination System is by asking ourselves the following questions:
1) What no longer serves me?
2) What can I leave behind?
3) Is there something I need to change in my life?
Asking ourselves these questions and acknowledging what needs to change in our lives is a great first step in healing our elimination system. Sometimes this change can be obvious and other times it may be something we haven’t recognized yet. Leaving behind habits and thought patterns that no longer serve us provides the space to become the happiest and healthiest version of ourselves.
